300 Club
Dear Parent, Alumni, or Friend,
The Bishop Donahue 300 Club is an endeavor whose sole purpose is to provide financial assistance to the athletics programs here at BDHS. Each year, as our school grows and expands, our athletic programs are also growing in the number of participants. We continue to strive to provide top-notch equipment, coaches, and facilities.
The 300 Club is an organization that gets together every year in the spring for a dinner and reverse raffle. The name itself, “300 Club”, would have you believe that we have at least 300 members. At the current time, we have 205 members on our list. I have been a member for the last 5 years and have now lent my abilities to try and achieve the stated number of at least 300 members.
The cost for membership is $50 per year if paid before January 1st. Otherwise, it is $52 per year. There are different captains that aide in the gathering of names and membership dues. The captain’s names are as follows;

If you know any of these people and would like to become a member, please contact them for any additional information, or feel free to contact me and I will forward your name to one of the captains. Some members pay in one lump sum. Others pay monthly. You can pay $1 per week if you wish. We would like you all to be able to afford the opportunity to become a member of this club.
The yearly dues entitle you to be in a $25 weekly drawing throughout the year. Your name can be pulled as many times as there are weeks in the year. Also, in the spring, you and a guest are invited to a dinner and a reverse raffle for a chance to win $1000. This event has become a cornerstone for the athletic department here at BDHS. All of this is covered by your yearly dues.
Please take the time to think about becoming a member of this worthwhile cause for our school. You may have a child, grandchild, niece, or nephew attending BDHS. You may know someone that has attended, or has children attending BDHS. You may be an alumnus of BDHS. You may be thinking about having your children attend BDHS. Or, you may have just heard about BDHS. In all of these and more instances, we welcome you to become a member of the BDHS 300 Club.
